Here Are 2 Movies To Bookmark This Weekend!

Chupa

We see movies about fairytales, supernatural heroes, magic and space but, have you ever seen a movie about a blood-sucking monster? I’m kidding… it’s a children’s movie, so there won’t be blood or anything related to it. Chupa is a brand new Netflix original inspired by the Spanish legend of a monster called the Chupa Cabra.

In this movie, a boy on a family trip to Mexico discovers a young chupacabra hiding in his grandfather’s shed. While the world outside waits to get its hands on this creature to do bad things, this family must protect him from that ugly place.

Your Kids Should Watch It Because:

This movie is about finding your roots, love, connection and the real value of family. this is something all of us keep trying to instil in our kids as well. The chupacabra design is not scary, which means that even the younger audience can enjoy the movie.

My Father’s Dragon

All our grandparents seem to have astonishing lives… a combination of hard work and pure happiness mostly. But, did your grandparents ever befriend a dragon?

In this story, Elmer, who is having trouble adjusting to his new life, decides to set out to find a wild island and rescue a young dragon. His adventures will lead him to encounter ferocious beasts, discover a mysterious place and make a new friendship. A friendship like no other!

Your Kids Should Watch It Because:

Our kids are used to 3D animations and insane transitions and graphics. However, this 2D movie is simple and yet beautiful. Your kids will fall in love with the style as much as with the story. The imagination of this movie is wild, in a good way. Children will love the peculiar things that this movie brings with it. And how can we forget the cute and adorable but brave dragon- Boris? It is a fun, simple, classic movie with a relatable and colourful storyline that will teach kids about friendship, family and believing in themselves and bringing the best out in others.
