Workshop: Knowing your library storytelling and narrative – Aug. 17, 2018

How well do children today know about the city's famous library? What tales do libraries tell about a place? Find out all this and more in this interesting workshop for kids aged 3-12 years about the  ‘The Madras Literary Society’ Public Library in DPI complex, Nungambakkam. A 3-hour workshop conducted for kids, this one will teach them all about the 200-year old library, the importance of cataloguing and there will also be a colouring and role-play exercise at the end of the session. Contest: Social History of Anna Nagar – Aug. 18, 2018

How well do your kids know about one of the most popular localities in the city- the buzzing Anna Nagar? Kids 8-16 years old can make a scrapbook while kids 15 years and above can make video presentations on the topic.

Photowalk for children – Walk by the Village Road – Aug. 22, 2018

Yocee- an exclusive newspaper by and for children are conducting their 10th annual photo walk that would cover a circular route from Valluvar Kottam into the crowded, colourful and pretty ancient Nungambakkam Market and shoot all that is about this ‘village’ in the city.
