What if you have one recipe that can work as a tiffin idea, an evening snack idea when energies are flagging and even a dinner idea?
This simple recipe is a keeper! Normally falafel is a great option for pita pockets as a filling, but we wanted to give it a twist – something packed with good fat & protein.
- Pack it in your child’s school tiffin. It will fill them up and with some prep the previous night you can have it in their tiffin in minutes in the morning
- Packed with good fats & protein it is a great option before they hit their after-school sports class or head to the park
- Pair it with soup & you have a wholesome meal on the table
Good health is greatly based on your good diet. It is the key to leading a healthy lifestyle. What you eat is what you become. This is why eating a diet that contains plenty of fruits and vegetables of all kinds has long been associated with good health & a strong immune system. And a healthy start to the day using ingredients that are packed with goodness is a great way to do that.
Today I am sharing a recipe that my family really enjoys – the Avocado Breakfast Pita Pockets. Actually, we can eat this for just about any meal actually.
The recipe uses Avocados which are a superfood packed with healthy fats & minerals & paneer which is a good source of protein, making this a balanced meal.
So let’s get started.
- 3 Pita Breads
- 1 ripe Avocado
- 1 tablespoon Mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Cream Cheese
- 1/2 cup cubed Paneer
