With wrestler Sakshi Malik finally breaking India’s medal jinx at Rio, the country is riding high in he Olympic euphoria wave! We have found some new stars, new icons who have inspired our kids (and us!) to try and achieve great heights daily.

So if you can’t get enough of all things Olympics then here are four fun quizzes to test your knowledge.

1. The Panda Games 2016 quiz from FoodPanda has ten multiple choice questions, each with a great Olympic action shot or GIF. Test your child’s knowledge (and your own!) about this year’s games, the Olympics in general and the long history of the event. You will even be rewarded for your participation! 2. The Nintendo Mario Sonic Rio quiz allows you to choose your favourite characters to build your very own Olympics 2016 team. Select one Nintendo character from a selection of four for each of the 14 Olympic events. Events include boxing, football, beach volleyball, track, swimming and gymnastics. Choose the character you think will suit each discipline the best. Characters include Sonic, Mario, Luigi, Daisy, Blaze and Tails. Your personalised team will be shown celebrating at the end of the quiz and it can be shared with your friends on Facebook.

3. The Buzzfeed Mascot quiz is referred to as the hardest one you will ever take! Every four years the Olympic Games has a fun cartoon mascot designed especially for the event. This quiz has some very challenging and sometimes entertaining questions about the mascots. Unless your kids happen to be Olympic mascot superfans, this one may just be a fun guessing game.

4. The Olympic Worksheets from Activity Village offer a great variety of fun worksheets. There are over 30 activities for kids of all ages. The pages can be downloaded, printed out or just played onscreen. These educational activities cover a wide range of skills from geography to art and word games to general Olympic knowledge.

In addition to these fun quizzes and activities, the official Rio 2016 Olympic Games app allows you take a selfie with this year’s Olympic mascots, Vinicius and Tom. So don’t be sad that you couldn’t be in Rio amidst all the action, get cracking on all that’s happening right here!
