Her older daughter Jhanvi Kapoor is been rumoured to enter Bollywood with some other big names and Sridevi was asked about her opinion on it.
You would expect Sridevi, who has been in the movie industry since she was four, to be happy that her daughter was thinking of following in her footsteps. But she shocked the media by saying this instead,
“Jhanvi wanted to do SOTY 2 and initially, I wasn’t in favour. I don’t think it’s a bad industry. I am a creation of this world. But as a parent, it would give me greater joy to see her married. But her happiness matters more, and if she does well as an actress, I will be a proud mother.”
