PAPER CUP FLOWERS

There are just so many times that I have caught myself playing with paper glasses and ripping them from the sides to make some design. It then struck me that one could actually do something creative with it too and just ripping it is not the only de stresser.

Material needed:

  • Crayons/Sketch Pens/Water/Fevicryl Colours
  • Paper Cup
  • Fevicol
  • Glitter/Beans/Sand/Confetti
  • Candy/Craft sticks

Method:

  • Take a paper cup and ask your child to colour it with crayons/felt pens/ paints whatever he pleases and let it dry if needed.
  • Starting at the top rim, cut down to the base
  • Repeat the cuts about every inch or half inch around the top rim
  • Let the toddler help you flatten the cup into a flower shape
  • Give your child a craft stick and have her glue it at the back of the flower
  • Finally, have her add some glue to the center of the flower, then sprinkle some confetti, beans, glitter, sand to finish off the center of the flower.

Do let me know how this activity takes off and if you can do send us photos too.
