IntelliStory books have been developed by Intellitots as a step-by-step program to guide children through the joyful process of reading in the elementary years. Each level addresses a stage in a child’s reading development. Parent 1: A child’s first guide to reading independently. Great teacher to learn different sounds. Learning with fun.
Child 1: Enjoyed it, It was much easier for him to narrate the story back with the short sentences. It helps the child complete the story with its short sentences. Children enjoy the book more because they can anticipate the next word.
Parent 2: Great tool for first steps in reading, rhyming words, and communication skills where the child can playback the story.Â
Child 2: Enjoyed it, Pig in the bin is his favourite. Children can easily remember the story and that makes them enjoy it more.
Kids Stop Press: They are easy to read books and the rhyming words make them extremely popular with the kids. They are keen on completing the sentences with the rhyming words. The stories are extremely simple and thats what makes the learning with phonics so easy. What we absolutely love is the last page where it checks for comprehension, vowel words & sight words. It is a set of eight books and covers all the vowels effectively.Â
Childs reaction: Please read it again. The kids wanted to read the story continuously and they read all the books at one go. Short stories do make it much easier for kids to read & complete.
Series I for beginner readers (4 years and older) has been designed for children who are beginning to learn reading. Simple three letter CVC words and level 1 sight words are used in the book to help children develop confidence as they attempt reading words and sentences all by themselves.
The beginner set includes 8 books. The first five books focus on individual short vowel sounds – a, e, i, o, u and the last three books help build confidence by mixing and matching the five vowel sounds.The systematic  approach to phonics at the right age facilitates the building of a sound foundation of the language which is lifelong. Not only does the child learn to read and write early but also develops a rich vocabulary. Thousands of children have benefited from this program.
