A picture straight from your child’s sci-fi books- you get to place an order through a tablet on your table and once the chef gets it all ready- your meal is served by robots in this one-of-a-kind- restaurant in Chennai!

Robot-India’s first robot theme restaurant run by 2 friends Venkatesh Rajendran and Karthik Kannan employs 4 robot waiters that not only welcome the customers but also serves them their desired meal- through their inbuilt programmes and sensors. The robots are guided with the help of a human touch, but the serving of meals is done entirely by the bots. There is no feature yet to interact with the robots and place orders (yes, we are thinking in the future!), but we wouldn’t be surprised if that feature comes in soon too!
With neon coloured designs for the interiors, and moving robots serving the orders, your kids are going to love this place for its ambience and of course for the delicious meals they serve.
The best part for people who are awestruck by this concept? There is a selfie booth where you and the kids can take a selfie with these hard-working bots! How’s that for the next Insta DP?!

What’s on the menu:
The cuisine is primarily Thai and Chinese. Try the baos, momos and the trademark noodles and finish your meal with a delicious kulfi or brownies and a large scoop of your favourite ice cream.
