When I first saw this video I was like yeah maybe this “Cool Mom concept” exists. Ofcourse it does especially on Bad Mommy days that someone is doing a better job than us. But as the video progresses I think it gets a little materialistic dropping names of brands which kind of takes away from the cool concept of the enviable cool mommy.
She has perfect leather seats no bread crumbs, perfect parties and skateboarding with her kids, or running 8 miles while she cant even run one. The perfect hair bit I have to agree I cant understand how do you manage perfectly blow dried hair with toddlers around.
I love the part when a mom sings while in conversation with the others especially the know it all moms that i wish I could be the cool moms. The whole idea that moms never think they are doing a good job is bang on. They never even believe that they could be a cool mom is also quite there. Self Doubt and more self doubt that makes moms drive themselves and their kids crazy. The only way to battle that is to not compare yourself with any other mom or compare our kids either.
