Hey kids! Its time to start the new year with a big bang! Ring in the new year with some fun activities at the Bright Sparks Centre and drive all your boredom away!

Heres a list of all the fun and action for this month:

Dance Classes by Sumeet Nagdev Dance Arts

The dance programme conducted by Sumeet Nagdev Dance Arts includes creative jazz and modern dance on popular English music. The programme lasts for 14 sessions and sessions are conducted twice a week. SNDA runs a school of performing arts that gives dance education to children, young adults, adults, semi-professional dancers and professional dancers. Classes are held on a regular basis and students are given opportunities to perform at semi-formal presentations and also at students’ shows twice a year in June and December.

Mother-Toddler Classes by Kiddie Junction

Bright Sparks presents Mother-Toddler activity classes conducted by Kiddie Junction. These classes enhance early childhood learning and strengthen the mother-toddler bond. The workshop is conducted for 8 sessions every month.

Dates: From January 7, 2014 onwards

Batch Timings: Tuesday & Thursday; 11am to 12pm

Age Group: 9+ months

Puppetry for Tots by iLEAP Academy

A fun, hands–on puppetry workshop for children. Watching a puppet show and replicating the puppets from scratch will be the order of the day for our little puppeteers! This class is conducted by iLEAP Academy. The core of the iLEAP programme is ‘Borderless Education’ where learning flows from subject to subject without actual division.

Geronimo by by iLEAP Academy

Here’s a mouse who runs a publishing house–Geronimo Stilton. If a little mouse can write for a paper, so can you! So brush those whiskers, put on your suit of adventure and come along. Sessions are filled with games, puzzles, board games and creating your own version of the Rodent Gazette. This class is conducted by iLEAP Academy.

Secret Codes by iLEAP Academy

Children will form a secret club and create their own secret language. Through the five sessions children will explore ancient code languages and their origins, decode secret codes, write post cards in their secret language, go on a treasure hunt and many more such exciting games and puzzles. Introductory Casio by Treble Clef

Learn the basics of keyboard at this fun-filled class at the Bright Sparks Centre for Creative Learning. Batches are conducted twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays. Timings can be customised for groups of three or more. Students do not have to bring their own keyboard.

Chess Classes by South Mumbai Chess Academy

Learn chess from professionals at this workshop by South Mumbai Chess Academy, conducted at the Bright Sparks Centre for Creative Learning.

Batch Timings: Beginners: Wednesdays 5.30 to 6.30pm;
Saturdays: 10 to 11am or 11am to 12pm(Children must attend two hours a week);
Advanced (taught by Nagesh Guttula): 11.30 to 1.30pm

Age Group: 4+ (all levels)

Fees: Beginners: Rs 1,200 for 8 sessions (1 month) + Rs 150 registration fees;
Advanced: Rs 1,600 for 8 sessions (1 month) + Rs 150 registration fees
