Essential Medicines To Carry When Travelling With Kids (Parent Recommended)

Parents (and children) are frankly fed up of being stuck indoors all year long thanks to COVID and are slowly traveling to nearby getaways and short travels while taking the right precautions. So in addition to the usual sanitiser, shield, face masks and hand gloves that have become a part and parcel in our homes, we have also compiled a list of the essential medicines you need to pack while on the go.

With kids in the house, you never know when any minor mishap or illness will require you to spring into action. While home remedies are useful in some cases, having a well stocked medicine cabinet with all the essentials is extremely important.

There are a couple of things you should keep in mind –

• Always check expiry dates on the medicines.
• Make sure that the medicines are kept out of the reach of children.
• Remove any remaining antibiotic suspensions. These can’t be reused.
• Put your medicines as per groups so that it’s easier to find what you’re looking for when you’re in a hurry – cold/cough, stomach, pain relievers etc.
