It can be hard for parents to know when and how to start teaching their kids about personal safety. But it’s a concept that needs to be taught to our kids as early as one year old.
Swati Jagdish is a Certified Lactation & Parenting coach and she spoke to Mansi Zaveri of Kidsstoppress about safe and unsafe touch with regard to educating our kids. We were taught about good or bad touch. But Swati explained why it should actually be safe and unsafe touch vs good or bad touch.

As a parent, I completely agree with what she says that each child has an innate body intelligence to identify the good touch from bad touch. We as parents need to learn how to trust those instincts and support them when things seem off and not just brush them under the rug.
Swati Jagish of @mayas_amma has had open and frank conversations with her daughter since she was a little tot. She also clarifies that sex education is not one conversation but a series of conversations you should have with your child.
