There is a very fine line between a pushy and a passionate mom. With the amount of options available for our kids to deal with today I somewhere believe that it is important for parents to decide early on what they really want their kids to pursue. Ofcourse if the child does not enjoy an activity/sport/hobby then we must factor that in first but the key is choose, stay focused and be persistent.
Andy Murray’s recent win has put the spotlight back on his mom, Judy Marray and given her a new title of being a pushy parent with unashamed desire to see her son win. Andy was introduced to tennis as a young child and is responsible for the way his career shaped up. Responding last year to accusations that she was overbearing she said: “I think that anybody who knows me knows that I’m not a pushy mum. And I think if you ask the boys – and they have been asked – they would say exactly the same.â€_x009d_
Andy who shares a close bond with his mum earlier said that she understands him best and they share a very close bond.
After Andy lifted the Wimbledon trophy, Judy said: “It’s the best feeling ever to see your son win Wimbledon. This is what he has talked about winning since he was a little boy, it was a dream that has become a reality now for him.â€_x009d_
