About the book:

"Tumbling Into An Adventure" is a storybook for children aged 7 and above. An adventure story set in the town of Chikmagalur, in Karnataka, this book tells the tale of 3 cousins who are visiting their grandparents- the dangers they embark upon and how they find their way out of it.

Dr Veena Adige, a senior Journalist with 3 decades of experience in the writing world has penned many short stories for kids and is working on the sequel to this adventure series for young readers too.

What works:

For our kids who are rooted to lives in the busy cities, there is something about the quieter towns that enthral them. The silence Visiting the grandparents or going to our native town brings fresh memories for every child and parent too! The fun of exploring new places, getting onto new adventures, and spending idle afternoons under the sun with our cousins is something all of us can relate to. Amidst all the global stories, we are happy Indian authors often come up with stories rooted in India with central characters with names that we come across in our everyday lives.

We like the simple narrative and language and the engaging storyline that gets the young readers to turn the pages in anticipation. Am sure the kids (and we) can't wait for the sequel in this series soon!
