A tour to Marks & Spencer Bandra outlet to witness their latest collection has turned out to be one cool affair. As moms we always complain about shopping abroad or ordering online for kids clothing because you seem to get great kids clothes and shoes. I have to agree, clothing in India for kids is not of the best quality, finishing and price. The M&S store in Bandra & Phoenix Market City Kurla has an elaborate kid’s collection and you will be surprised to see the amount of variety your eyes will meet.
Infants: If you are a new mom and looking for infant packs then they have great value packs of rompers, socks, mittens, caps and leggings. I always find it hard to find good basics for kids but it was a pleasant surprise to see some great basics in pink blues for those tiny tots.
Girls: The girls collection ranges from 2 – 12 years and is a reflection of mommy style. Tiered dresses, pants and denims in many hues, printed leggings, beadwork on the neckline, tea party and pleated dresses.
Boys: checkered shirts with contrast detailing, superhero tees and colourful chinos is what will be your first picks. Superhero tees include Spider-Man, batman and Star Wars. Our favourites were the superman PJ’s .
Holiday collection: The holiday collection has fun swimsuits for girls and boys. The trunks have a Hawaiin feel with comfortable finish while girls can enjoy chlorine proof swimwear that’s quite chic in shades of coral and monochrome. Holiday collection shirts have a relaxed feel and girls have an array of hats, glasses and flip flops to choose from.
Just launched: Casual chic shoes for boys and girls and fresh feet socks .
More than basic: if your boys can’t get enough of football then you must know about the Arsenal, Man U and Chelsea briefs and trunks. If princess is the one that tiles the roost then get Disney princess inspired vests and briefs for girls.
I am sure it’s going to be a spree worth your time if you love quality British clothing.
