You may have travelled all across the world trying all sorts of cuisines, but when you need your comfort food, that’s when you realise that there’s nothing quite like Indian food. Don’t you agree? Indian food has a few distinct characteristics that make it ‘truly desi‘; – the masala, the use of ghee and the use of grains that are local to us. Like this one pot meal…

One of the many resolutions, we have for 2021, is to opt for healthier food choices as a family. Eat local, eat seasonal has always been my family’s mantra and I am happy I am teaching my kids the value of foods, the importance of grandmom’s recipes, and why we must stay connected to our roots!
