You should know that quick oats are actually devoid of all the good things and are highly processed. The best option would be to buy rolled oats to enjoy the health benefits of oats. Another tip you should keep in mind is that oats prepared with cow milk and soy milk turn very thick and soggy. If you are using cow milk,  use half water and half milk. Also, it’s important to make oats with nuts or nut butter because oats are fat soluble and if you want to be able to obtain all the nutrition from oats it must be coupled with fat.

  • 2/3 Cup Carrots – carrots
  • 1 Cup Almond Milk (no soy milk)
  • 1/3 Cup Rolled Oats
  • 1 Tbsp Pumpkin Seeds
  • 1 Tbsp Sunflower Seeds
  • 4 Walnuts chopped
  • Few Cranberries (optional)
  • 2 Dates chopped up
  • Raisins, Coconut flakes and handful of Millet Puffs to garnish with
  • Pinch each of Cinnamon, Ginger and Nutmeg

  • Cook the grated carrots until it’s half done in a splash of milk or water.
  • Add all the other ingredients to the pan and cook until creamy.  Adjust the consistency by adding more or less milk according to your preference.
