I wanted to beat the boredom by redecorating my child’s room and was looking for interesting ideas and products. Cartoon-based products are abundant in the market and frankly, I was getting a bit bored with them. I was looking for something bright and colourful to spread joy in her room and at the same time it had to be quirky and funny. Remember the childhood rhyme- “One for sorrow, two for joy. Story Behind Two For Joy:
Two For Joy is a range of handcrafted products that exhibit the message of happiness and joy for parents and children. Made with bright and colourful designs, they bring an instant cheer to the surrounding. They bring alive the magic of storytelling and rhymes from childhood times and create their own unique collection.
Two fun-loving parents, back in 2015, had a conversation with each other about how gifts for kids were getting repetitive and boring with the usual cartoon-based images. They decided to change the scenario and launch their own brand that promised to spread cheer and was imaginative, playful and artistic. Two For Joy was born. Starting with a first Diwali exhibition sale at Gurgaon, they were overwhelmed by the response and the orders that followed after. Parents contacted them for customized presents, return gifts for parties and to decorate their child’s nursery. Made out of felt and paper Two for Joy has some great ideas and we love the bright designs and intense colours, however it does compete with the DIY segment. It would be interesting to see how the folks at Two For Joy can move beyond the basics and redefine the kids gifting industry what they set out for.
