The Conscious Collective Wants To Fill Your Baby Journey With Made In India And Organic Products!

The story behind The Conscious Collective:

The Conscious Collective is the brainchild of two sisters- Anushree Jindal and Prerna Gupta. When Anushree, a Chartered Accountant by profession, was expecting her first child and started shopping online to find organic, conscious products that she could use during and after pregnancy, she was dissatisfied with the choices available as a customer and discussed the same with her sister, Prerna, an author and a Fashion Management graduate. That’s when conversations steered into ideas and they both realized the huge gap in the market and the lack of ethical and organic products for expectant and new moms. The Conscious Collective was then born.

The sisters did their research by consulting with gynaecologists, fitness experts and nutritionists  before coming up with what to put in each gift box.

What’s in the gift box? 

A whole list of organic and hand-picked products for various stages such as pregnancy, post natal, infant and mother-and-child is available. The products that are specially curated included beauty products (such as skin oil, soap, face scrub, day/night cream, cleansing milk, dark circle serum, etc),  food items (such as organic tea, cookies, brown sugar, almond butter, organic spices, superfoods, etc), nursery products (such as incense sticks, fresh mint, candles, diffuser, night suit set, organic bed linen) and gift options such as silverware boxes, jewellery, baby hampers and curated special subscription boxes.

Pricing:

The products are priced starting from Rs. 100. The Rs.500 and below category mostly have superfoods, beauty products and small wooden toys. Boxes priced above Rs 500 have curated products in various categories such as organic baby clothing, organic bed linen, baby journals, night suits, silverware to name a few. Their signature collective boxes start from Rs.1500 up to Rs. 5800.

• The idea of focusing on organic and ‘Made in India’ products is what will make them stand out. In the quest for exotic and handpicked products, we sometimes miss out on the good things near us and focus on imported products.
• The products cover a wide range from 1st trimester to infancy. From bath oils and coconut cream soap for the glowing to-be mom to soft cotton bedding for the adorable toddler, The Conscious Collective has them all.
• Each product on the list is cleverly thought out. Focusing on quality, usage, functionality and design aesthetics, The Conscious Collective does all the groundwork, so that we don’t have to worry about the end product.

What we would like to see:

• The Conscious Collective is working towards organizing workshops for parents and toddlers with renowned educators and experts to encourage conscious parenting.
• They also plan to enter into the maternity wear market. We would like to see how that pans out.
• They already have a small collection of soft onesies and cotton wear for new borns. We would like them to expand it into a separate section.
