The easiest guide to save and manage your kids artworks in India

Stick the different artworks on the magnetic board and each of the kids can have their own magnetic board. Cereal Box Frames: Why throw away the empty cereal boxes when you can use them as frames. Hanging Vertical Wire Picture Holders: If the art works are too many then this is one of the ideas you can use. Use self adhesive hooks to hold the steel wire and clips with tiny strong magnets to hold the artwork in place.You dont need to do any fixings in the wall. Wall Decals: Try these removable Frame Wall Stickers or Frame Decals that you can put around the artwork. Wallpaper Frame: You will need White butcher paper/ Easel Paper, Masking tape, Markers and Oil pastels. Then take some tiny wire hanging nails, and tapped them into place right against the sheet metal and into the side of the frame.

Its such a great feeling when your child runs up to you to show his master piece and you as a parent would want to put it up. But the art work is not just one, there are many. So how are you suppose to manage and keep all? And if you have two kids then it’s a double whammy because you not only have double the artwork but you also have them fighting on whose will be retained and whose will be trashed.

Try these easy ideas to manage your kids artworks at home

1. Magnetic Boards: This is a good long term investment. And its easy for the kids to do it even when you aren’t around. Stick the different artworks on the magnetic board and each of the kids can have their own magnetic board.  you can buy a Magnetic board at hardware or stationary shop. Read more here.

2. Cereal Box Frames: Why throw away the empty cereal boxes when you can use them as frames. You will need Cereal Box, Glue, Scissor and Acrylic Paint.  Cut the frame from the cereal box according to the picture the size. Decorate the frame or you could just paint it. Use glue to stick the picture to the front. Add a magnet to the back if you want. Read more here.

3. Box Lid Frames: A shallow box lid is preferable to try this idea. Stick the picture on the shallow side and the other part to the wall. If the box lid is white, you can decorate it with fabric strips, paint or any other way you like. Read more here.

5. Hangers: Use those extra hangers that are lying around the house.  You will need Hangers, Painter’s Tape, Clips or Cloths Pin. You could stick the hanger to the wall or use small hooks to hang it. Get the kids to decorate or paint the hanger. Using the cloths pin or clips hang the pictures to the hanger. Read more here.

6.  Bulletin Frames: If there is an empty wall and you want to decorate it, try this idea. You will need Frames, Corkwood, Spray Paint and Scissors.Remove the glass and the back of each frame.  Keep the back and throw away the glass. According to the size of the frame cut the cork board and stick to the back of the frame. Use pins to put the pictures. Read more here.

7. Clip Boards: You can use old exam boards or buy new ones. Create holes near the clipper to hang the boards or you could use command strips. All you need to do is put up the exam board and the pictures can go up. Read more here.

9. Clothesline Art Hanger: You will need eyebolts and clothes pin. Drill a hole to screw the eye both on two sides depending on how long you what the clothes line to be. Attach hanging wire into the eye bolts and hang the pictures using the cloths pin. Read more here.

10. Wallpaper Frame: You will need White butcher paper/ Easel Paper, Masking tape, Markers and Oil pastels. First hang the paper on the wall with masking tape. Tape it on both ends.and start drawing different frames in various shapes and sizes. Once done, let the kids begin their artwork all around the paper. Read more here.

12. Frames with Galvanized Sheet Metal:  Buy a Galvanized Sheet Metal from a home store. Cut that huge sheet down to size to fit within a spare frame.  After  cutting the sheet metal, fit it into the back of the frame. Then take some tiny wire hanging nails, and tapped them into place right against the sheet metal and into the side of the frame. You can use stick on letters to write names on the frame.
