Holidays! Holidays! Holidays! We have so much planned that it’s at times an event in itself to finally come down to a conclusion. I love packing for holidays and its very important to try out different holidays with the kids so they get to experience it all. On our last camping trip we had a super time and the daughter keeps looking out for another one which is on my list of weekend getaways. Honey Bees Nature Club is coming up with one such event – The Mini Family Mini Campout.
About Honey Bees Nature Club – As an outdoor Recreational Club, it aims to bring families together and closer to nature. They specialise in organising adventurous activities and free play at natural surroundings in and around the city of Bangalore. To enhance and provide an enriching experience to the families they have a limited intake of 3 families every 3rd Saturday of the month.
About 40kms away from the city, in a pristine and a child friendly environment, fall in love with nature and environment for complete 2 days in a private farm. Engage in fun and adventurous activities along with your parents and kids on this weekend of June. Â Pitch your own tents, light a bonfire and indulge in some barbecue. You can walk by the farm and admire the scenic beauty through the day or gaze at sky in the nights. You can have unlimited fun limited to 3 families.
You can laze around in the hammocks and dream away as you stare at the sky or stroll around the farm and vicinity and admire the beautiful scenery. Â They do have indoor plumbing so campers don’t need to go totally wild. All camping gear, activities and F&B is included.Â
Here are five reasons why it’s a nourishing trip:
- It’s important to give your body some natural attacks. Humans are made up of nature and we dwell in it. Direct exposure to nature is essential for physical, mental and emotional well being.
- Natural surroundings are important, especially for children in today’s times, as it leads to a normal and healthy development of mind and body.
- Playing games with family increases the bond among family members and is a great stress buster for parents. It also boosts the stamina and allows the kids to mix with families together instead of the regular friend zone that they remain in for long hours.

- Honey Bees Nature Club takes all the responsibility of the organisational aspect of the trip. So if there is anything you need to do, then that’s PACK UP!
