Storytelling is an art- and when you learn it from the right people, it becomes a pleasure, to narrate and to listen to stories. This weekend, here is where you must head to with the kids, for some amazing storytelling experience.
What is Kathakar International Storytellers Festival:
Traditional, folk tales, epics and community history were communicated orally with gestures, expressions and voice modulations to leave a lasting impression on listener’s mind. Started in 2013, this festival looks to preserve and promote the traditional oral art form of storytelling. Touted as the only storytelling festival in India and one of the biggest events organised by Indira Gandhi National Centre For Arts, the storytelling fest is back this year for another successful outing with kids and parents.
