Inspired to do something different and break the shackles, Bhavna decided to try the idea of a gift registry on a personal level first. She planned a gift registry and shared the list with her guests for her daughter’s 2nd birthday. The positive response from the guests on how happy they felt on gifting something useful and the satisfaction from her end as well, set the ball rolling for Giftistree to take a bigger form.

How To Order?

The process is pretty simple. You would have to log on to giftistree.com and make a registry/wishlist of gifts you wish to receive.Â You can then go ahead and add gifts from the gifting partners that includes some big names such asÂ Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Hopscotch and Pepperfry. You could then share your wishlist with your guests who can place the order. The gifts are then shipped to your location within 5-7 working days. Shipping is free for ordersÂ more than Rs. 2000.

Price Range

Creating the wishlist is free. Giftistree offers the option of buying gifts forÂ baby showers, weddings, housewarmings and for kids’ birthdays.Â The wide range of products for the parenting space include subscription boxes, cloth diapers, apparels for kids, hair accessories, bolster covers, wall stickers and even baby and maternity photo shoots, among others.

What We Would Like To See:

Though there are so many gift registry options available, senior members of the family would still feelÂ the customary need to gift cash on special occasions. Giftistree is planning to launch a ‘Send Cash’Â as a gift option and that would be interesting!
Giftistree also plans to introduce a ‘gift packaging service’.Â That way if someone wants to send the gift directly to the giftee, it can be gift-wrappedÂ thereby adding the personal touch.
