Yoga has always been a very big part of my life. I wake up and look forward to all the Surya Namaskars and handstands and my kids have always watched me love my mornings. In the hustle bustle of the city and the pressures at school, I have found that yoga can help counter these pressures.
When children learn techniques for self-health, relaxation, and inner fulfilment, they can navigate life's challenges with a little more ease. Yoga at an early age encourages self-esteem and body awareness with a physical activity that's noncompetitive which is very important 21st century skills for the children of today.
