One glass of milk. Is that enough energy for kids to be active till lunchtime? Mornings are not fun for anyone… Especially moms who have to get up exceptionally early to plan the day ahead, both for meals, chores, work, and everything! Planning it the day before is an option if we weren’t so occupied till the end of the day literally.

When you wake up in the morning, you already have a million to-do lists floating in your brain. Your child may not be hungry in the morning or you are just having of those weeks where a glass of milk is what you give your child before leaving for school. While milk is healthy and good for the bones and strengthening, is it enough?

So is milk healthy for breakfast? Yes, and when paired with foods from two other food groups it makes a balanced meal that can have a positive impact on energy levels and long-term health.
