The Rooster year comes every 12 years and is marked as the beginning of the Chinese New Year. This year falls after a Monkey year and before a Dog year. The years of the Rooster include 1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1976, 1981, 1993, 2005, 2017, and 2029.
