So by now you obviously know that I have tried  220 tricks on Shapes. If you haven’t read PART Uno then click now. On a serious note here are a few more ideas.

1. The ever germ infested clay. Ok I know its great for a lot of skills and we use it too, but you got to agree that it rolls all over the house and then onto the hands and then nails and into the stomach. Roll some clay on the rolling pin or flat on the ground and cut shapes with a shape cutter. If you don’t own one don’t stress just make it with your hands. Don’t know if you agree but I find play dough very relaxing and am sure the children do. Apparently a study reveals that when anyone is stressed or angry, clay therapy works really well. Its very good for the children’s motor skills and is highly recommended by most psychologist.

2. Take straws and cut them into even sized pieces and stick them on paper making different shapes. You could use candy/match sticks as well

3. Draw different shapes and put some fevicol on the peripherals and let your child sprinkle some glitter on it. Please place a newspaper underneath to reduce the cleaning. Additionally after the glitter is stuck tap the paper on the floor to get rid off the excess glitter.

4. Make cutlets/sandwiches/dosas whatever you feed her for snack in a  variety of shapes. Trust me the food goes down really quickly.

Hope these work and you have fun doing them!
